Overview

The Apocalypse is an Egyptian short film that poses a daring speculative question: what would happen if the end of the world came to Egypt? Stepping away from the Western lens typically applied to apocalyptic narratives, the film imagines a local, distinctly Egyptian reckoning with global annihilation. A compact and thought-provoking work, it invites Arab audiences to confront the genre from a fresh cultural perspective.
