As Far as Yearning (Le Voyage Immobile) is an experimental Lebanese film essay co-created by celebrated filmmakers Ghassan Salhab and Mohamed Soueid, living in two different cities yet sharing a sustained creative dialogue. The film is assembled from the images, sounds, and scattered monologues they exchange across the distance — a work composed by sound, performed by words, and perforated by images in motion. It traces a yearning for an unsettled space once shared and breathed together, evolving into a meditation on solitude, survival, and the act of being two in one.
