The Last Man in the World is an Egyptian fantasy comedy built around a wildly absurd premise: an ancient pharaonic spell wipes out all men on Earth, leaving only Kamal — the unsuspecting person who accidentally read the incantation aloud. As the sole surviving male in a world now populated entirely by women, Kamal's life is turned completely upside down. The film uses this fantastical setup to deliver sharp comic observations about gender dynamics, male-female relationships, and the chaos that ensues when the most fundamental social order is overturned overnight.
