Overview

Hour of Prayer Answer is an Egyptian comedy-fantasy film that takes a child's fleeting wish and follows its magical — and immediately regrettable — consequences. After a quarrel with his parents, a young boy wishes for a completely different mother and father, and to his astonishment the wish is granted. He finds himself whisked away to an unfamiliar home with a new family he has never met, embarking on an adventure that is by turns bewildering, funny, and quietly moving.
