Overview

Al Ragol Al E'naab (The Hibiscus-Man) is an Egyptian science-fiction comedy drama series following an eccentric scientist nicknamed "The Hibiscus-Man" by his friends. While conducting his obsessive experiments, he accidentally discovers a formula that grants ordinary people superhuman abilities. He sets out to use his creation as a force for good — but the government brands him a fraud and launches a manhunt. As authorities scramble to discredit him and find a lookalike to replace him in public perception, Egypt is struck by a catastrophic disaster that forces the government to reverse course and seek the very man they hunted. A fun, distinctly Egyptian spin on the superhero genre.
