Overview
Ahmed Notredame is an Egyptian thriller built around a chilling serial killer whose crimes of murder and abduction have left police baffled. When a young journalist discovers that the killer is obsessed with the iconic character of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, he hatches a daring plan: disguise himself as a similar figure, adopt the name Ahmed Notredame, and use himself as bait by staging a fake kidnapping with the help of a willing accomplice. The gambit works — the real killer takes notice and begins reaching out, turning the hunter into the hunted in a tense cat-and-mouse pursuit that blurs the line between brave investigative journalism and reckless self-endangerment.
