Taheya El Ansari

Egyptian actress. She was born to an Egyptian father and a Turkish mother. She was ranked fifth among eight siblings. She was the youngest girl in the family. She had twins who died immediately after birth, and her mother died when she was eight years old after a severe hemorrhage. Her artistic inclinations appeared in high school in the late seventies of the twentieth century. She used to play some roles in front of the mirror and declared to her family her desire to become an actress after she finished high school. Although the family initially objected to one of the family’s daughters becoming an actress, her father’s support for her enabled her to achieve her desire after he saw her commitment to entering the world of acting. Her artistic debut was in the series (Shahd and Tears). She acted in a small number of television works, not exceeding eight. Despite this, she had distinguished roles and a well-known face, especially in her well-known role in the series (The Shalash Family). She also played the role of a blind girl with the artist Samir Hosni and the artist Souad Nasr, in a role that critics considered more distinguished, in addition to her role in the religious series “Muhammad, the Messenger of God” with the artist Muhammad Al-Dafrawi. She was afflicted with cancer, which kept her from completing her artistic career, and she was unable to return to it even after her recovery from cancer, despite her desire to do so. She died in 2005 after suffering from angina at the age of 43.
