An Egyptian actor, born in Cairo, Sherif studied at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts and graduated in 2003. He studied at the institute and started behind the camera. He worked as a photographer and assistant photographer and participated in filming advertisements and video clips until he became an assistant director for a period that lasted more than three years. Sherif’s first television work was a scene in the series (A Woman from the Time of Love), after which he participated in the Abdeen Family series in separate episodes. Sherif was absent again to study and teach behind the cameras until he returned in 2002 with the series (Girls). He was absent again for two years, and after he finished his studies, he participated in the series (Ya Ward, Who Will Buy You) in 2004, and in the same year he participated in the series (Mahmoud Al-Masry), and in 2005 he participated in the series (Land of Men) with the artist Salah Al-Saadani, and in the same year he acted in the films A Private Lesson and Blood of the Gazelle.
