Shafiq Alshayeb

An Egyptian actor, born on September 26, 1948. He began his artistic activity in the mid-sixties and played small roles in Egyptian cinema and television series. His films include “Al-Akhras” 1980, “Children of Origins” 1985, and “First Love” 1999, and his series include “Zeinab and the Throne” 1979, “Al-Mahrousa” 1985, and “Winter Flowers” 2005. He can be seen in the role of the director of the maternity hospital in the movie “The Devil Offers a Solution” 1991 and the role of the director of the department in the movie “Speed No More Than Zero” 1992. Shafiq Al-Shayeb, a police general, is married to popular singer Fatima Eid, with whom he has three daughters: Dalia, Nevin, and singer Shaima Al-Shayeb.
