An Egyptian director, actor, and author. He was born in the village of Qanabat in Sharkia Governorate in 1931. He studied complementary trade and then joined the Higher Institute of Cinema and graduated from it in 1957. He worked for EgyptAir. The beginning of his artistic career was when he participated in acting in the movie (Haa 3) in 1961, while his first work as a director was in 1965 through the play (I am Where and You Are Where), and his works followed after that, the most prominent of which are (Pardis, Houses in the City, Shehatin’s Strike), he passed away in 1996.
