An Egyptian singer and actress, she was born in the city of Tanta in 1923. Her real name is Fatima Al-Nabawiyah Mahmoud Al-Mallah. She studied at the Institute of Arab Music, then she was discovered by the poet Ahmed Ramy. She became famous at the end of the forties, and the artist Mohamed Abdel Wahab composed for her. Among her most famous songs are (Top Al-Farah, Sweet Zaghrouda, Tata Khati Al-Ataba). She participated in a number of films in cinema in the forties and fifties of the year. The most prominent of which are (The Woman, The Reckless, The Girls, Sharbat). Thanks to the songs she presented for children, she won a UNESCO award. She died in 1997.
