Shadow of the Sea is an Emirati romantic drama set in the Al-Fareej neighborhood, a traditional coastal community where life moves to the rhythm of the sea. Young Mansour is quietly captivated by Kaltham and searches for a way to make her notice him. He settles on the idea of a gift — something meaningful enough to express what he cannot say aloud. But acquiring it proves harder than he expected, turning a simple romantic gesture into a test of resourcefulness and heart. Gentle and visually evocative, the film captures the tenderness of first love and the particular social textures of traditional Gulf life with understated grace.
