Un Marocain à Paris is a Moroccan-French comedy about Najib, a young man living in Morocco who envies his architect brother's comfortable life in France — a life his brother has built over twenty years. With little money and big dreams, Najib makes the risky decision to emigrate clandestinely. The journey quickly spirals out of control when he falls in with Attila, a Turkish fugitive who drags him into a web of shady schemes. His arrival in France is anything but the idyllic fresh start he imagined. A lively, good-natured film about immigrant dreams, comic misadventure, and the gap between expectation and reality.
