Overview

Titanic: The Arabic Version is an Egyptian comedy film that serves as a satirical parody of James Cameron's Hollywood blockbuster Titanic. The film reimagines the classic love story through an Arab lens, following a poor young man from Port Said who dreams of sailing to Dubai aboard the Titanic, where he crosses paths with a wealthy young woman burdened by social pressures to marry a rich Gulf suitor. Blending slapstick humor with sharp social commentary, the film uses the Titanic premise as a vehicle for exploring class dynamics, marriage expectations, and everyday struggles in Egyptian society.
