Torbal Rayeh Jayy is an Egyptian comedy film that stars the lovably hapless Torbal, a young man with big dreams of becoming a charlatan, who is forced to travel to Cairo with his brother Ghorbal when their mother falls ill. Struggling to afford her medical treatment, the two brothers turn to an actual sorcerer for help — and then decide to learn the trade themselves. What follows is a chain of increasingly absurd comic situations as the inexperienced duo attempts to pull off mystical tricks on unsuspecting locals.
