Land of mines, is a 2019 Sahrawi movie. directed by Mohamed Sleiman Labat.
Land of Mines is a documentary examining the deadly legacy of the conflict in Western Sahara, a disputed territory in northwest Africa. Following a bloody war, the land remains seeded with an estimated 7 to 10 million landmines — concentrated especially along the wall constructed by Morocco that divides the territory in two. The film documents the devastating human and environmental toll of this ongoing threat: civilian casualties, livestock losses, and irreversible ecological damage that continues to shape life in the region decades after the fighting ended.
