Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi is an Arabic historical drama set during the Crusades, at a moment when a fragile truce is declared as Richard the Lionheart falls ill. Young Arab men seize the pause in hostilities to make their way to Jerusalem and join the Muslim armies defending the holy city. Among them is Saif al-Din, a young warrior who travels under a concealed identity known only to Prince Khalid. Upon reaching Jerusalem, Saif al-Din earns the trust of the Sultan, positioning himself at the heart of a conflict shaped by shifting alliances and political intrigue. The series weaves personal ambition into the grand sweep of medieval Islamic history.
