Overview

Serotonin is an experimental film that ventures into the landscape of the human psyche, exploring the existential questions that surface when life feels suspended — neither moving forward nor retreating. The film seeks out the rare, unexpected moments of joy that can flicker even within a life in limbo, where meaning feels absent and direction unclear. Eschewing conventional narrative in favour of a lyrical, image-driven approach, Serotonin operates as a sensory and philosophical meditation on consciousness, stillness, and the fragile chemistry of happiness. It is a film for viewers who want cinema to do something different — to feel rather than simply to tell.
