Overview

Saroona is a short film offering a tender and perceptive look at childhood through the eyes of six-year-old Saroona, who runs away from home after the arrival of a new baby disrupts her world. With the family's attention suddenly redirected toward the newborn, Saroona sets off on her own — a small figure navigating big emotions. The film captures with simplicity and warmth the universal childhood experience of feeling displaced, jealous, and invisible, turning a brief moment of domestic upheaval into a quietly resonant story about belonging and the need to be seen. A delicate portrait of early childhood and the turbulent feelings that come with it.
