Overview

Oulad Al Hlal is a Moroccan social drama thriller that follows Saïda, a young woman who flees her dysfunctional family in search of a better life and a shot at artistic fame. Instead, she falls into the orbit of Nour, a nightclub owner who exploits her talent by making her perform for paying customers. Adding to her troubles, Saïda's deviant family members relentlessly pursue and blackmail her, refusing to let her escape her past. In a bid for revenge, she joins forces with her friend Maryam — who works at the office of prominent lawyer Omar — and together the two become entangled in a crime that dramatically reshuffles the power dynamics between all involved.
