Overview
Nasb wa Ihtial is an Egyptian comedy film set in Kuwait, following a newlywed couple, Salem and Salwa, whose peaceful life together is thrown into comic chaos by a bizarre case of mistaken identity. Salem shares a name with the apartment's previous tenant, a man entangled in suspicious and immoral affairs, and the confusion quickly attracts the wrong kind of attention. Strangers begin turning up, determined to retrieve two bags believed to be hidden inside the apartment, plunging the couple into an escalating series of awkward and farcical encounters. The film plays its premise for sharp situational comedy, wringing laughs from the absurdity of being caught up in someone else's shady past.
