Overview

Still Burning (نار من نار) is a Lebanese drama film set in Paris in June 1998, where André, a Lebanese filmmaker who has made France his home, unexpectedly reunites with Walid, his closest friend from decades past. Over the course of a charged night, the two men revisit their shared youth in war-torn Beirut — where they were bound together by a passion for cinema and by the same woman, Amira. As the hours pass, long-suppressed resentments and buried memories surface, testing a friendship shaped by civil war and complicated by love.
