Family Matter (Mawdoo Aeli) is an Egyptian social comedy series that takes an honest look at fatherhood through the story of Ibrahim, a man who reluctantly agrees to become the guardian of his estranged daughter for six months. Having lived apart from her for most of her life, Ibrahim is unprepared for the role — and the awkward, funny, and quietly moving situations that follow chip away at both their defences.
