Overview

Abu Jazma Banafsaji (أبو جزمة بنفسجي) is an Arabic social comedy that takes a sharp satirical look at ambition and deception. A seasoned con man crafts an elaborate persona as a film director, using it to gain the trust of a star-struck aspiring actor who dreams of fame and recognition. As the fraudster works his way into the young man's life and the lives of his family, his manipulation sets off a cascade of comic and increasingly tense events.
