Overview

Moshwar El-Wensh — The Journey of El Wensh — is an Egyptian social drama following Hassan 'El Wensh', a self-made businessman who clawed his way up from nothing to become a respected name in Egyptian commerce. A small transgression from his past — long dismissed and forgotten — resurfaces through a woman named Nawwara, a woman from the old neighborhood who carries a secret capable of destroying his reputation, his marriage, and the carefully constructed identity he has spent years building. The series examines the price of ambition and the impossibility of truly escaping one's past, told through the slow unraveling of a man who believed he had outrun his mistakes.
