Overview
From Stories of the Prophets, also known as Stories of the Prophets in Clay, is a landmark Egyptian religious animated series and the first of its kind to use clay animation (claymation) as its primary visual technique. Produced for a young audience, the series retells the lives of the Prophets as recorded in the texts of the Holy Quran in a style accessible and engaging for children. Each story was carefully reviewed and approved by the Department of Research, Authorship and Translation at Al-Azhar, ensuring religious accuracy throughout. First broadcast in 1998, the series marked a milestone in Arabic children's religious programming, combining authentic Islamic storytelling with a creative and visually distinctive animation format.
