Al Azhar is an animated historical series that traces the founding and evolution of Al-Azhar, one of the most important Islamic institutions in the world. Beginning with its establishment in 972 AD under the Fatimid commander Jawhar al-Siqilli, the series chronicles the early decades of this great center of Islamic learning, including the founding of its renowned school by Yaqub ibn Killis. Designed to educate and engage younger audiences, the show brings to life the rich intellectual and spiritual heritage of Al-Azhar through accessible storytelling and animated visuals.
