Overview

Journals (Muthakkirat) is a romantic drama series following Ahmed and Houda as they take a daring step — meeting for the first time in the privacy of a private apartment, far from the scrutiny of those around them. After carefully plotting to overcome every obstacle, they come face to face in a foreign space that still carries the silent traces of a recent tragedy. When they return home that night, each realizes they are no longer quite the person who arrived. Part romance, part mystery, the series explores what changes within us when we step outside the boundaries the world has drawn for us.
