Overview

"Scholarship" (Mubtaath) is a Saudi Arabian drama series following a young man who returns home after years of studying abroad on a scholarship, only to discover that his family is no longer the same as when he left. What he expected to be a triumphant homecoming becomes a journey of quiet shock and emotional reckoning, as he confronts changes in his loved ones that time and distance have carved while he was away. The series thoughtfully explores themes of identity, belonging, and the bittersweet reality of growth — asking whether we can ever truly go back to where we came from, and what it costs us to try.
