Overview

Glory to Our Sultan is an Arabic historical drama that distills one of history's most poignant moments into an intimate dialogue: the final night before the fall of Granada, the last Islamic stronghold in Andalusia. The Sultan and his wife speak across the weight of an empire on the brink of collapse, their exchange threading together grief, dignity, and an unspoken farewell. By focusing on a single human conversation rather than the battlefield, the work brings an intensely personal dimension to a civilizational turning point, inviting reflection on loss, legacy, and the quiet tragedy behind the fall of a great era.
