Mabrouk Again! is a warm Lebanese comedy in which Marie, a Beirut mother, wakes in a panic convinced she has lost her daughter Hoda's wedding photograph — a photograph that, in fact, was never taken. A decade earlier, a bombing raid cut the wedding ceremony short before any pictures could be captured. Now, with the help of an obliging photographer and, improbably, a chicken, Hoda and her husband set out to reconstruct the wedding ceremony from scratch so that Marie can finally have the photograph she has always deserved. A gently comic film about family, memory, and the Lebanese instinct to celebrate life in spite of everything.
