Overview

Our 80's Nights is an Egyptian social drama series set against the atmospheric backdrop of 1980s Egypt. After a prolonged period working in the Gulf, Hisham returns home expecting to resume his familiar life, only for everything to change when his daughter Gamila is involved in a car accident with the family driver, Rady. The incident sets in motion a series of unsettling discoveries, as Hisham begins to notice things about his wife Mariam that he had never suspected during his years away. Against the vivid social landscape of 1980s Cairo, the series probes themes of trust, absence, and the quiet ways lives can drift apart when distance keeps loved ones separated.
