"Ghazl Al-Banat" (The Razor's Edge) is a Lebanese drama set against the devastating backdrop of the Lebanese Civil War. The film follows two contrasting souls brought together by the chaos of conflict: Samar, a young girl who finds solace from the surrounding destruction in Egyptian films flickering on her television screen; and Karim, a reclusive artist who retreats into his apartment in war-torn West Beirut, convinced that his familiar neighborhood offers safety. As the civil war intensifies around them, an unlikely and deeply human bond forms between the two. The film is a poignant meditation on art as refuge, the illusion of safety during wartime, and the unexpected connections forged in moments of collective trauma.
