Overview

Very Big Shot is a Lebanese dark comedy-drama set in the backstreets of Beirut, where a modest pizza takeaway doubles as a front for a small-time drug operation run by brothers Ziad and Joe. When their younger brother Jad is released from prison — having served time for a crime actually committed by Ziad — the family dynamic shifts. Guilt-ridden and eager to go straight, Ziad dreams of channeling his savings into opening a legitimate restaurant of his own. But extricating oneself from the drug trade is never as simple as walking away.
