Palestine: A People's Record is a documentary in which filmmaker Mustafa al-Zubaidi draws on archival footage from the German Democratic Republic to construct a historical narrative of the Palestinian people's story. Using the GDR archive as both illustration and evidence, the film presents a linear chronicle of Palestinian history through a lens of solidarity rarely available in mainstream documentary.
