Overview

Elfrashat (There Once Was a Boy) is a poetic coming-of-age drama centered on Hassan, a young man in his mid-twenties living in isolation and quiet anguish in a world that refuses to let him be himself. Trapped by internal and external constraints, Hassan's life is transformed when an elysian butterfly appears and leads him on a profound spiritual journey into his own depths. Through this transcendent experience, he rediscovers his true essence and reclaims his identity. A lyrical and moving film about self-acceptance, freedom, and the journey back to one's authentic self.
