Overview

Dirou Niya is an Arab social drama series that opens with the death of Boubacar, leaving his friend Mahmoud — once his business partner — to assume responsibility for the widow Aisha and her three daughters. Mahmoud expects to step in and manage the estate with ease, but Aisha has other plans: she announces she will personally run the strategically located neighbourhood café for an entire year.
