Overview

Donga is a documentary portrait of a young Libyan man who was just nineteen years old when the 2011 uprising against Muammar Gaddafi erupted in his hometown of Misrata. A decade later, living in Istanbul after being wounded in battle, he revisits his personal video archive to piece together the decade that followed — reflecting on how war, displacement, and memory have shaped the man he has become.
