Overview

Our Hands is a short film by Syrian director Abdellatif Abdul Hamid, produced following his return from the Soviet Union. A lyrical and precisely edited meditation on hands — what they create, how they move, and what they communicate — the film weaves together imagery of hands in action with a conductor-led orchestral performance. A beautifully spare work that distills a profound humanist philosophy into pure cinematic language, demonstrating the early sensibility of one of Syria's most distinctive filmmakers.
