Overview

Wishes For My Heart is a short Egyptian comedy-drama that centres on the chaotic unravelling of one ordinary day in the life of a delivery boy. What starts as a routine shift quickly spirals beyond his control, plunging the young protagonist into a series of unexpected complications. The film takes a light but observant look at the pressures and absurdities of everyday working life, finding humour and warmth in a situation that is at once specific and universally relatable. Brief and brisk, it showcases the kind of character-driven storytelling that makes short-form Arabic cinema a rich and underappreciated genre.
