Clockwise, is a 2010 Qatari movie, directed by Khalifa Almuraikhi, and starring Abdulla Hamid, Ali Mirza, Maysa Maghrebi. with a runtime of 110 minutes.
Clockwise is a Khaleeji fantasy drama that blends folklore, music, and time travel into a richly layered narrative. Through the magical powers of an antique pocket watch, Saad is transported back to the 1930s, reliving a period when his father's life hung in the balance and he discovered the love of his life. The film weaves in the legendary origin story of fijiri — the entrancing traditional music of Gulf pearl divers — as Atique, Saad's adoptive father, encounters a group of jinn in a ruined building and their leader Adsaan agrees to teach him this ancient art, with one binding condition: the music must never be shared. The tension between secrecy and celebration drives the story forward, while Saad falls for Jeena, a renegade jinni who may hold the key to saving his father. A visually imaginative celebration of Gulf heritage and oral tradition.
