Overview
When a Woman Loves is an Egyptian romantic drama tracing the turbulent life of Amina, a woman betrayed by the man she loved, who leaves her to raise their son Murad alone — with help from her devoted friend Umm Ibrahim. Amina builds a new life by marrying Hashem, who knows nothing of her past, while young Murad is sent to Europe. Years later, a grown Murad returns to Egypt and crosses paths with Nadia, a con artist operating alongside her criminal brother Ramzy. A multigenerational story of secrets, consequence, and the long shadow of hidden pasts.
