Back to the Wall is an Iraqi drama film centred on Qusay, a university professor in the College of Media whose orderly life is upended by unexpected news. A close friend from his student years — someone he has not heard from in a long time — has apparently fallen into serious trouble. Driven by loyalty and a gnawing need to know the truth, Qusay sets out to find his friend and understand what really happened. The deeper he digs, the more he is drawn into circumstances far beyond his familiar world. The film blends human drama with mystery, using Qusay's personal journey as a lens through which to examine the bonds of friendship and the moral weight of showing up for those we care about.
