Overview
The Challenge is an Egyptian drama film that opens with the release of Huda, imprisoned for killing her unfaithful husband, only for her to face a relentless campaign by his father Abdul Qawi to strip her of custody of her child. Lawyer Ahmed, moved by her plight, breaks off his engagement and marries Huda to secure her legal rights. The decision sets off a spiral of revenge as Abdul Qawi allies with Ahmed's uncle to destroy the couple's new life. The film is a taut examination of justice, loyalty, and the lengths a mother will go to protect her child.
