Overview

Searching for Tirfas is a documentary that plumbs the interior world of a man born and raised in a refugee camp, carrying the inherited dream of one day returning to a homeland he has never known. As years pass without return, that dream calcifies into a longing he cannot escape. When he becomes a father, the weight of responsibility forces him to confront life between two worlds — the one he came from and the one he must build. The film is a quietly powerful meditation on identity, belonging, and the cost of existing between borders, asking what it means to build a future when the past remains unresolved.
