Les Oubliés de l'histoire (Al Mansiyoun) is a Moroccan drama following Yamna, a naive village girl seduced and abandoned by a shepherd named Azouz who promises to return from Europe with money to marry her. When he never comes back, her father arranges her marriage to a wealthy merchant who discovers her secret on their wedding night and casts her out. Refusing to return to her village in shame, Yamna travels to Fez, where a chance encounter with a driver leads her to join a dance troupe bound for Belgium — and toward Azouz, whose absence has set her entire life adrift.
