Egyptian radio director from June 1, 1929 in Cairo. He graduated from the College of Arts in 1967. He began his work on radio in 1956 and progressed until he was appointed Director of the General Administration of Evenings and Singing Programs. He was a lecturer at the Radio Training Institute and a member of the Dramatic Scripts Committee, selecting directors, and testing actors. Among his most important radio works is the program (From Life), which is considered the oldest radio program, and the Quintet (Saad Al-Qenawi), (Sweet and Crazy, but I Like It), (Couples, but Strangers), (Man Above the Waves), and others. He also directed many detective plays, the most important of which are: (The Terrible Secret), (The Two Brothers), (Is He Dead), and others. The name (Youssef Hegazy) is associated with the famous program (Two Words and Bas), which was presented on Egyptian radio for decades.
