Egyptian journalist and actress, born in Cairo on February 16, 1940. She studied history at the Faculty of Arts, Cairo University. She graduated in 1961 and joined Egyptian Television as a broadcaster, then worked in variety programs and women’s programmes. She met director Hussein Helmy Al-Muhandis, who introduced her to Egyptian cinema, so she participated in several works in supporting, secondary roles, all of which revolved around women’s issues. In the film “Eve on the Road” in 1968. She played the role of the head of a women's association whose goal is women's equality with men, with the artist Magda Al-Sabahi. In the movie “Miramar” 1969, she played the role of him, and the movie “Aris Bint Al-Wazir” 1970 with Shweikar.
