
An Egyptian actor who began his artistic career at the end of the thirties and played secondary roles: the prisoner, the wanderer, the drug seller and drug user, the undertaker, the bribed employee, and the bedridden. He worked in cinema and television, and his films include “The Day of Sperm” 1938, “Diary of a Deputy in the Countryside” 1969, “Love in the Rain” 1975, “The Sin of an Angel” 1979, “Hell Under the Water” 1989, and among the series in which he participated is “The Departure.” 1965, “The Vortex” 1973, and “Mouths and Rabbits” 1978. He can be seen in the role of the teacher Abu Saree, the drug seller and the owner of the stitch on the Nile, in the movie “Chatter on the Nile” in 1971.
