Mahmoud Kamel

An Egyptian director, born in Giza Governorate in 1975. He graduated from the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Science in 1999, then joined the Department of Directing at the Higher Institute of Cinema and graduated in 2003 with an honors degree. He also won the State Encouragement Award for the film (Madam), through which he received a scholarship to study the art of directing at the Academy of Arts in the Italian capital, Rome. He spent a year and a half there and then returned in In 2005, he directed his first feature film (Meccano) in 2009. He also directed the films (Adrenaline, Adam’s Manor, Midnight Party, Out of Duty).
